Here we introduce single-cell Proteoform Imaging Mass Spectrometry (scPiMS) now published in Nat. Biotech. which measures intact proteoforms directly from 10,809 single cells from a rat hippocampus. This new platform addresses the throughput bottleneck for single cell proteomics using mass spectrometry.
